Dear readers, friends, and visitors.

This page is not put here to push any particular religion, but rather to give you an opportunity to independently investigate some of the world's religious beliefs in the sanctity, privacy, and quietude of your own home. It is my strong belief that religion, from the derivation of the word, means the joining of mankind with that Spirit that made, controls, and unifies all of the inhabitants of this planet. I believe this is what religion should do, not, in ANY manner, divide the inhabitants of this planet and cause hate and enmity between its inhabitants. I truly believe that "this earth is but one country, and mankind its citizens."

I believe that everyone on the planet has the right to investigate truth for themselves, and that no one can ultimately make the decision for anyone else about what to believe or not believe. It is your choice to make for yourself, but one that cannot be honestly made unless and until you have access, in some way, to understanding what the various religions stand for and, if possible, the opportunity to read their sacred scriptures for yourself. I have always believed that I was given a mind to make my own choices, especially in the realm of my own spiritual path. If you feel that you have the innate capacity to investigate truth for yourself, and to determine your own choice of belief, or non-belief, then read on and visit the sites I list here. One piece of software that I cannot say enough about, or reccomend highly enough, is the free software called OCEAN - World Religions Free Research Library. This free software contains all of the major Holy Text of the following religions: Baha'i, Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Islam, Judaism, Sikh, Tao, and Zoroastrian. Yes, it is free. Yes, you can simply read the religious text as you would a book. Yes, you can also use the search engine included in the software and look up a term, then say which religion(s) you want to find that in, and it will research all of the Holy Writings included in this compilation and bring you back any reference to that word or term. Now that has to be the most fantastic way to research and look at and read religious writing ever devised. Again, do this for your own spiritual development. Read the original text of many of the religions found on our planet, and make your own choices.

This page will be updated very rarely. If, however, something comes to light that I feel I wish to share here, I shall add it.

And, PLEASE, if you know of better sites that should be used here to further the knowledge of all in the quest of religious unity, Let Me Know. I can't update this page if I don't know such sites exist. So please, check back occasionally to see if anything else has been added or changed.

The pages listed here are, I believe, in simple chronological order, at least three per religion, and are simply references to most of the larger world encircling religions. Some you may know of, some you may not. This is merely a way for you to investigate on your own, without comment from me or anyone else. And, to my knowledge, no one from any of the following sites will ever know you visited their site. So enjoy your search for enlightenment.

Some other sites may be considered by others to be of more relevance or value. This may be so. There are a minimum of three for each religion I have found. A simple search at any of the search engines I am confident will bring you a host of other sites to peruse and study.

May your understanding increase and your knowledge that we truly are all of one universal family, increase.

Let's start with something that may prove useful to you in your dealings with those of other faiths than your own. The INTERFAITH CALENDAR will show you what religious festivals and commemorations are being celebrated at any given time of the year. Why not join those around you and celebrate their religious celebrations as well as inviting them to celebrate yours with you? Wouldn't this be a more healthy planet if we all shared in understanding and tolerance of each other's religious beliefs? I feel it would. Enjoy.

I do not, nor will I, show any site here that is in any way detremental to anothers beliefs or traditions. These sites are produced by the religions themselves, not by me. If you find anything here that decries any brother or sisters beliefs (and yes, I do believe all of us are interconnected more tightly than our blood brothers and sisters) then please do not hesitate to show me which site it is, and where it shows offence to another religion and it WILL be removed immediately. This page is to promote unity, not discord. It will, however, show religious persecution no matter where, by whom, and on which religion. Truth, like it or not, is truth.
