Welcome to Hints About the Diet
Use only those products you are not allergic to. This page is made up of the staples of the diet as well as some hints. Enjoy !!
* Rice Milk (for milk substitute)
There is some concern this is filtered using a barley enzyme
so use sparingly.
Also rice milk can be made with canola oil or safflower oil. So if you are allergic to these things, always read the lables before you buy the product. And keep in mind that even the same manufacturers may switch the ingredients at times. Be safe - read every lable before you buy a product for your use to ensure that there is nothing in it that you have an allergic reaction to.
White Sauce:
Did you know that you can make a White Sauce
without butter? Just heat rice milk in the microwave for
about three minutes, and then put in rice flour, whisk around
to mix, and heat in microwave for one or two minutes.
