Fruit Dessert
Do not make this when you are trying to rid of candida.
This dish cooks at 175 degrees C or
350 degrees F for 25 minutes.
In preparation grease a glass dish.
Ingredients
¼ - ½ cup margarine substitute
1 tsp to ½ cup sugar (can be brown or white)
1 egg white
½ cup rice flour
½ cup brown rice flour
¾ tsp baking powder substitute
Method
Cream margarine substitute, add sugar and cream again.
Put in egg white and mix well.
Put in all the dry ingredients and mix.
Press into glass dish.
Arrange fruit: can be any fruit that bakes well, ie apples or peaches.
Sprinkle with brown sugar.
Bake. Then cool for ten minutes and eat.
Apple Nut Thingy
This is applesauce with a crumble topping. Do not make this when you are trying to rid of candida.
Ingredients
2 cups sliced apples
¼ - ½ cup sunflower oil
1 egg white
1 tbsp egg replacement
1 c almonds, pecans, or walnuts
½ tsp baking powder substitute
1 cup (or more) flour made up of white rice, brown rice and glutinous rice. You could even put in rice flakes if you want.
Method
Place sliced apples on the bottom of a greased baking dish.
Mix together all other ingredients.
Pour on top of apples and bake at 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F for 20 minutes or until topping is brown.
Carob Muffins
Do not make this when you are trying to rid of candida.
Ingredients
Dry:
1 cup brown rice flour
1 cup white rice flour
2 tbsp corn flour (maize)
2 tsps glutinous rice flour
2 tbsp carob
pinch salt
carob chips and pecans to suit your taste buds
1 tbsp baking powder substitute
2 tbsp egg replacement
Wet:
2 tbsp rice syrup
1 tbsp sunflower oil
½ to 1 cup Rice Milk
Method
Mix wet ingredients with dry ingredients. Do not over mix.
Put into muffin tray and bake at
180 degrees C or 350 degrees F for 30 minutes
When done, take out of oven
After five minutes, take out of muffin tray and cool.
