The purpose of this page is to acknowledge the contributions to "Macs Picks of the Week" by the many people around the world who have contributed to the success of this site. My thanks goes to each and every one of the people listed here, and I encourage you, dear reader, to submit sites and ideas to my page also. Those who do so on a continuing basis will be listed here.

Friends, I need more help. If you are a regular visitor why not take a few moments and send me links to pages you have found interesting and/or useful? I will look at them and as long as they meet the criteria for my site, list them for others to see and use. Yes, those listed below still do send links, but I could use more. So, why not become a regular submitter of links? If you do, your name and my thanks to you will be listed here.

Digital
Women - Women with their modems running...

Rebecca Game of "Digital Women - Women with their modems running...", is a graphic designer who is superb to say the least. Rebecca designed this "new look" web site specifically for me, and I can't praise her work enough. Her site, dedicated to women on the net, is worth seeing and bookmarking for future reference. If you are looking for links of interest to women, please visit her site. And if you need the BEST graphic designer on the planet, I seriously can't recommend her more highly. Oh yes, and when you visit her site, tell her Mac sent you. Thank you Rebecca. I am eternally grateful for your assistance and expertise dear friend. You are truely "One in a Million". ;-)

Jackie Keesee is a constant and continuing contributor of sites she finds in her surfing of the net. Jackie started sending me sites to see when she was reasonably new to the Internet, and she still finds time to search out various things of interest and send them to me, though she is now looked upon by friends and family as the local "Internet Guru". I know it keeps her from her beloved garden, but she still remains the most prolific submitter of sites of interest. Thank you Jackie (and Bill), for all of your wonderful links.

John Knox in New Zealand has also been a regular contributor of sites he has found in his surfing of the net for over 4 years now. John finds interesting sites and free software downloads that can be of help to all Internet travelers. I really appreciate getting an email from John because I know he's found something else that will be of help to the Internet community. Thank you John, for all your efforts.

Dianne Falaegra, a good friend in Florida, USA, sends me interesting sites she has come across, and many of the sites you see on My picks page come from her efforts in finding things I hadn't even thouht of looking for. Thank you Dianne, for your continued support of my page, and your wonderful sites that you forward for me to have a look at.

Valerie Larson is yet another frequent submitter of sites of interest. Valerie has found some interesting sites, many of which have been picked as a site on my page. Living in California, Valerie finds time away from the beach and sun to surf, and sends me sites of interest that she has found. Thank you Valerie for your contact and input.

Maureen, a long standing friend, finds time from her extremely busy schedule of managing her household and job, plus studying at a college to obtain a degree, to send links along of useful things she has found. Where she finds the time I will never know, but I am so grateful for her imput. Thank you Maureen. You know.. it goes to show that the old saying " when you need something done, ask the busiest person you know and it will get done." Thanks Maureen. Edoc is alive and well and lives in the States.

Friends, it is people like these who help make the publication of this site a much more rewarding and much easier task. I sincerely appreciate all sites submitted to me, and yes, I do go look at them all. If they meet the criteria listed in the "Why and How Info" link on the right side of this page, I include them in a subsequent weeks picks. So please, if you would like to help, send along your sites - those that are totally family friendly, contain no reference to alcohol, drugs, or sex, and can be viewed by any member of anyone's family regardless of age, ethnicity, background, religion, and you consider would be helpful and/or useful for other "Netizens" to see. If the site is simply a commercial enterprise offering nothing to the Internet community without cost (but includes a free set of Ginsu knives), I'll not use it as a pick of the week. But, if it also offers things to the net community like recipies, or help files, or good free versions of software that might help others, or simply sites that you have found pleasureable or useful to visit, then let me know and I'll most likely use it. Who knows - send along enough sites on a regular basis and you might find your name here in the acknowledgements too. I do appreciate your help, so consider sharing what you've found with the rest of us on the Internet.

And if you don't think anyone really notices - watch the hit counter on the right side of the page each week. That's growing all the time, and that represents one heck of a lot of folk from all around the globe who do visit and do use the resources you supply. Remember, if they can't read English, my site can also be translated into many other languages, and apparently that is happening regularly. Thank you again for taking the time to read this, and hopefully considering helping me find useful sites for the Picks of the Week as well.

My email link is directly on your right. I do hope to hear from you *smiles*
