Trying to find a blog of interest is at times, difficult. Thus sites like Waypath - Blog Discovery Engine might just be what you're looking for. Enter a subject, country, or other criteria and it will try to find a suitable blog for you. Give it a try.
When is the last time you did any maintenance on your car yourself? Scary stuff? Not really when you have sites like the maintaining your vehicle - RACV site on line to show you the basics. RACV stands for The Royal Automobile Club of Victoria (RACV) and was founded in December 1903 here in Australia, so it's been around a while. Have a look. You could save yourself some cash in the process.
When finding places on the net that you can bring your children to you might want to consider the Kaboose Kids Domain - The Family Internet site. It's very family oriented so also be prepared to join in the fun with your young folk. Nice site.
Seen any good movies lately? The All Movie Guide site is a little different than most in that it seems to simply pick a film and write a review of it, no matter who made it. Nice way of seeing someone else's opinion before you head to the theatre.
While working, especially while online, many folk enjoy listening to Internet Radio from around the world, as it can be interesting, informative, and a lot of fun. To find out what's available hop over to the Radio-Locator site and tell it what you're looking for. You'll be amazed at how many stations broadcast online from around the world. Turn up your speakers and enjoy.
This week I thought I'd look for recipes from yet another country and thus the Argentina Recipes Culinary history and information site is interesting to see. The recipes may be a bit different than you're used to but why not give them a try? Variety is, after all, the spice of life.
If you have occasion, when making a presentation of some kind in PowerPoint or some other medium, where you need to capture a part of your screen to add to the presentation, then you need a good screen capture utility. The one I have used for a long time is the Gadwin Screen Capture and Print Screen software, and it's free for personal use. It has to be one of the most useful programs I've loaded on my vista machine thus far. If you need a good screen capture utility, this is the one.
We don't hear a lot about space travel at the moment in the news but that doesn't mean there aren't plans in the making to do just that. Thus the Space Travel and Exploration site will show you what's the latest in space travel. Who knows? The old song title "Fly Me To The Moon" may not be that farfetched after all.
Historically women have changed the face of our nations and our humanity as much as men have. The National Women's History Project - A Resource for Information about Women's History site should be a must read for any real urban male out there who wants to see and understand the value of those around him. If you're doing women's studies this site will also be a valuable resource. Enjoy.
Here in Queensland, Australia, we have just had our electricity supply deregulated and now there are many providers to choose from. To make those choices a little easier to understand the Queensland Government has launched The Power To Choose -Electricity Provider Choice site, which ultimately tries to thread its way through the confusion and make it easier for the consumer to understand the options. How lovely it would be if more governments took the same initiative in their own patch.
I'm a lover of the night sky. Thus, the SKY-MAP.ORG - Interactive Sky Map site is a real treat. It shows you what your sky above your head contains and then gives you information about it and what to look for. Interesting stuff. Have a look.
Niagara Falls is one of those places where honeymoon couples have gone for hundreds of years. If you're unable to travel to see this magnificent falls, don't despair. Simply click on the Niagra StarDot Tech Cam site and watch it refresh every few seconds or so. Amazing place and well worth a look.
